Stone is placed at the base of the trench and a PVC line is connected to the downspout, which helps to water drain where it’s supposed to. Once all of this is done, the sod is replaced and the area is re-leveled to look just as good as new. Because of the more complex installation, this is the more expensive option, but also provides the advantage of being hidden.
